Before dawn, two eagles slowly landed in front of the tavern. Isaac, along with his mother and Alcott, walked straight inside.
Before Isaac left, he had asked the attendant for two additional rooms.
As soon as Isaac reached the second floor, he looked up and saw Evie standing in the middle of the hallway.
"Evie, why aren't you asleep?" Isaac asked, slightly surprised.
Evie looked up at Raelynn with a hint of shyness. She seemed like she wanted to say something but stopped herself.
