Charles felt like this was his big moment. He was worried that Isaac would leave the banquet earlier. Thus, he brought Xavier and rushed here without waiting for his father and Uncle Wyatt. He wanted to make Isaac pay for humiliating him previously.

Isaac sized up Xavier. He could feel the spiritual energy emitting from this man and was considering whether or not to start a fight.
