"Allegra, what are you doing? Are you crazy?" Margaret immediately stood up, looking nervous.
Everyone had a look of shock on their face. They had never expected that the timid Allegra would do something so impulsive.
"Allegra, don't get emotional. Just put the knife down. Don't scare Grandfather," Andrew urged.
Allegra's tears streamed uncontrollably, and she sobbed, "I really trusted you, but you all played me the fool. I've already forgiven you all many times, so why do you keep on bullying me? Either give me the company or the money. Or else, I'll die right here."
Her voice grew shriller, and she pressed the knife to her throat.
