Allegra was excited too. She'd been to Pecling before, but it was her first time going on a trip with her family.
Isaac drove with his shades on. Eugene was in the passenger seat, talking about his younger days when he used to visit Pecling on business trips.
Allegra sat in the backseat with Isabella, eating snacks and enjoying the fall scenery through the window. It was harmonious. It was a weekday, but there were many tourists. The four of them queued for more than half an hour for the tickets before they could start climbing the Tall Tower.
The weather was splendid. Isabella was exhausted before long, so Isaac carried her and conquered the tower in a few breaths.
Allegra was undeniably enchanting and graceful, turning heads as she went by. But nobody attempted to woo her, as they saw a man and a child next to her.
