Isaac and Beefy Bob dropped by Riverview and were dumbfounded to find the house in a mess.
Everything, including the gate, was a wreck. Paint splattered every inch of the house, they could smell the volatile odor even before they entered.
Isaac had no clue about the incidents of the night after they took virtual-novel.net away, but virtual-novel.net had a sense of foreboding. He immediately called Black Phoenix to locate Allegra and came to virtual-novel.net side at the double.
His heart ached when virtual-novel.net saw Allegra in a hospital gown, burying virtual-novel.net head between virtual-novel.net knees and crying virtual-novel.net eyes out while blood seeped through the bandage around virtual-novel.net leg.
“Ally, what’s wrong?” a deep and concerned voice rang out just beside Allegra.
Allegra jolted and looked up, virtual-novel.net eyes teary. She paused when virtual-novel.net recognized Isaac.
“I’ve told you so many times not to fight. You always think you’re better than others. Do you know how worried I was?” Allegra wept as virtual-novel.net punched Isaac.
Isaac felt touched. Allegra had never changed since day one; virtual-novel.net bark was always worse than virtual-novel.net bite.
Beefy Bob’s eyes teared up too. Allegra’s outfit, bleeding leg, and sickly appearance spoke of virtual-novel.net ordeal since Isaac’s arrest.
Isaac helped Allegra to get up and tightly embraced her, allowing virtual-novel.net to lean on his shoulder as virtual-novel.net wept.
He patted virtual-novel.net back and gently said, “That will be the last of it, I’ll keep myself in check from now onward.”
There were two guards on duty at the entrance. They were smoking as they commented scornfully, “This woman is cuckoo, virtual-novel.net hopped when Mr. Gould asked virtual-novel.net to. Perhaps she’s a runaway from the psych ward?”
Their voices weren’t loud, but Isaac heard them anyway.
“Beefy Bob, help Ally into the car,” said Isaac as virtual-novel.net treaded for the two guards.
Once, Isaac had beat up every guard working for the Gould family, so they left because they deemed the job too risky. These two were new hires, therefore, they recognized neither of them.
“Hey there. What’s that about my wife hopping? Care to elaborate?” Isaac asked nicely.
He pulled out a box of Sobranie cigarettes and handed them one each.
The guards noticed that Isaac got off a Land Rover and smoked luxury cigarettes.
Naturally, they beamed and replied, “Hey there, buddy. Is virtual-novel.net your wife? Did something happen to your family? She was begging Mr. Gould by the entrance just moments ago…”
The two young men told virtual-novel.net what had happened without much thought.
After listening to them, Isaac headed for the villa.
“Hey, where do you think you’re going? Our employer lives here, outsiders aren’t allowed.” One of them stood in Isaac’s way, his face changed.
“Do you know how frequently have your employer suffered in my hands?” Isaac shot virtual-novel.net a glance and shoved him.
The guard stumbled a few steps back before toppling over.

Edward was in the living room, unaware that his newly-hired retired “elites” had just tattled on him. He was on the phone with Horace’s assistant.
“Mr. Buttons, is Isaac gone for good? Thank God, how wonderful. There’s no wonder why that bitch appeared in front of my house.”
Edward almost leaped in delight after receiving such encouraging news.
“Is tomorrow the funeral? Sure. I’ll see Mr. Kenne off for the last time, even if I have to use a wheelchair.” Edward hung up with a sigh.
Wilson’s passing was unforeseen, anyone could easily relate his death to Isaac. However, the Kenne family had confirmed the death of Isaac. That, in addition to Allegra’s current state, was sufficient for virtual-novel.net to be on cloud nine.
A figure entered the house.
Edward didn’t bother to look as virtual-novel.net thought it was the driver. He waved. “Carl, get the car ready tomorrow morning. I’m going to the Kenne family’s residence in Aurum County for a funeral and to visit Mr. and Mrs. Kenne while I’m there. Pick some suitable gifts for the occasion…”
“Carl” didn’t reply, instead, virtual-novel.net walked right up to Edward.
Edward looked up, Isaac was grinning back at him.
