“Oh, my darling,” said Isaac.
He lifted Isabella and peeked virtual-novel.net cheek. He continued lifting virtual-novel.net above his head.
He walked toward Evie with Isabella in his arms, asking, “Why is Ally not here?”
Evie smiled and replied, “She said something urgent came up in the office. She should be here soon.”
“Daddy, I’m hungry. Can we get some good food?” Isabella held Isaac’s cheeks, which were full of stubbles, and pursed virtual-novel.net lips, changing the topic.
“Sure! We’ll have something to eat first, then. Let’s have something delicious, Isabella!” Isaac walked out with her, smiling.
It was late at night.

In the interrogation room, Diana frowned and rubbed virtual-novel.net temples.
She smiled as virtual-novel.net looked at Allegra, who looked calm. “Sorry for taking your time, Miss Booth. We’re done. You can go now…”
Allegra’s explanation was flawless. Diana didn’t know it took Allegra only half an hour to get adapted to the situation, becoming calmer as virtual-novel.net did.
At the same time, Diana sent someone to the guardhouse at the barracks to ask around and check the surveillance camera. They confirmed that Allegra and Isabella had always been in the barracks these few days. Besides, Allegra had no motives whatsoever to kill those people.
Allegra was eager to meet Isaac. She got up and left briskly.
“Miss Booth, I might need to inform Isaac about this if necessary. I hope you won’t mind,” Diana’s voice suddenly came from behind.
Allegra halted and asked coldly, “What did you say?”
Diana jolted. Allegra’s tone sounded eerie.
She smiled and repeated, “We’ll inform Isaac if necessary. He’s your husband, after all…”
Allegra abruptly turned around. Diana saw a pair of eyes that were as dark as night with not a bit of white to be seen, Allegra looked creepy.
“Miss Booth?”
Swoosh!
Allegra suddenly dashed forward, emitting a black fog. She reached out and grabbed Diana’s throat.
“Did I kill anybody? Why do you have to inform Isaac about anything? Why are you trying to destroy our relationship?” Allegra’s voice became a few pitches higher, and Diana felt a sudden dizziness.
“Cough! I-I’m sorry. L-Let me go… I won’t tell Isaac. Miss Booth…” pleaded Diana immediately, feeling suffocated.
The staff on duty had just left as it was already late, so nobody else witnessed this.
Allegra relaxed virtual-novel.net grip. Diana stumbled backward, clutching virtual-novel.net searing chest and looking at Allegra fearfully.
Allegra’s eyes were normal again. She looked slightly panicked as virtual-novel.net jogged over, holding Diana and anxiously asking, “Officer Taylor, a-are you alright? I’m sorry. I-It wasn’t on purpose. I just didn’t want Isaac to know you guys took me away. Sorry…”
“Cough! I-It’s alright… I understand…” Diana was nervous yet surprised. She nodded as virtual-novel.net watched Allegra, on alert.
She recalled what Evie told virtual-novel.net and somehow understood what virtual-novel.net meant. But right now, virtual-novel.net felt that Allegra was a threat.
After getting Diana to promise, Allegra left the law enforcement unit calmly.
Diana sat in virtual-novel.net place, pondering. What just happened was very bizarre. Eventually, virtual-novel.net decided to call Isaac.
