Isaac broke the rope tying him with his spiritual energy before slamming his left fist onto one of the executioners' chests. There was a loud crack as the man flew backward, blood spurting from his mouth.

The next second, Isaac thrust his fist at Earl's chest.

The turn of events happened abruptly. Earl could never have imagined Isaac still had spiritual energy left in him until his punch landed heavily on Earl's chest.

Isaac put everything he had into this punch. Although it was only 60 percent of his usual strength, he broke Earl's sternum and wounded his internal organs as Earl was caught off guard.
