Zachary hobbled over from the back. He placed one hand on Albert's shoulder and stuck one hand between the cell bars.
Isaac took his hand.
Zachary's frail hand gripped Isaac's tightly. It was shaking hard. He frowned as he stared at Isaac. "Mr. Garten, I'm a bag of old bones now. It doesn't matter if I get out or not. However, my family..."
As he spoke, a bout of violent coughs wracked his chest. He then continued, "The men in the Taylor family can die on the battlefield for the country, but they cannot die framed in infamy..."
Seeing the determination in the old man's eyes, Isaac took a deep breath and said, "Alright, don't worry. Since Cassius plotted to frame you, then I'll make sure to get to the bottom of it... Mr. Taylor, take good care of Old Taylor. I'll come back for you in less than five days."
