Isaac picked up a plate and smashed it onto one of the thugs’ faces. He swung his fist, and another thug fell, screaming.
Within a few seconds, the thugs were sprawled across the floor, groaning and moaning.
Allegra was dazed, Leah and Cooper were terrified. Rory stared at the scene before virtual-novel.net blankly as virtual-novel.net backed up against the wall.
“Allegra, please wait outside. I’ll talk virtual-novel.net into renting that space for your company…” Isaac smiled at Allegra.
Allegra came back to virtual-novel.net senses. She bit virtual-novel.net lips and said coldly, “You’re getting yourself into trouble. Nobody can save you.”
She left the lounge, feeling virtual-novel.net heartbeat throbbing in virtual-novel.net ears.
Once virtual-novel.net reached the corridor, virtual-novel.net took out virtual-novel.net phone and dialed Beefy Bob’s number. “B-Bob, where are you now? Isaac just hit someone again, and it’s not just anyone. Come quickly. We need your help.”
Meanwhile, Isaac walked up to Rory and stared at virtual-novel.net intensely. “I didn’t want to hit you, considering we used to be classmates. But do you really think you can do whatever you want in Cloud City?”
“I-Isaac, if you lay a finger on me, I assure you my father will never let you go.” Rory couldn’t stop himself from trembling when virtual-novel.net looked into Isaac’s eyes.
Isaac slapped Rory.
Leah shuddered and leaped off virtual-novel.net seat in fright.
Cooper yelled grudgingly, “Garten, Mr. Mandela’s father is the deputy mayor! You’re in deep shit now!”
Louis smirked secretly.
Commoners… Always assuming unwarranted authority.
“Oh, that’s frightening,” Isaac smirked. He slapped Rory again.
Blood spurted from Rory’s nose, and his head started to throb. He reached out to grab Isaac, growling, “Jerk, how dare you slap me! I’ll kill you…”
Rory fell to the ground as another slap landed on his cheek.
Isaac treaded on the back of his hand and said coldly, “Mr. Marsh’s suggestion sounds nice, don’t you think?”
“Argh!” Rory screamed at the top of his lungs, squirming in pain.
His face against the floor, virtual-novel.net roared, “Jerk! I’ll call my father the moment you let go of me. Only one of us will be able to leave this room alive!”
Isaac laughed. “Sure… I’d love to meet your father…”
Rory scrambled up from the floor and dialed his father’s number. He cried into the receiver.
“Mr. Marsh, things will get out of hand if the deputy mayor is involved…” Leah turned to Louis and asked anxiously.
Rory’s father was virtual-novel.net superior. She would be in deep water ifhe found any fault with her.
Louis smiled and said nothing.
Soon, someone opened the door to the lounge, and Brody Mandela, a plump, middle-aged man, walked in, his hands behind his back. Following virtual-novel.net were two uniformed law enforcement officers.
Brody scanned the room coldly while Rory clambered toward him.
He cried and pointed at Isaac. “Dad, it’s him! He hit me, and it hurt badly! You must pay virtual-novel.net back for me!”
There was tension in the air. Leah lowered virtual-novel.net head.
Brody looked at Isaac and approached him, saying coldly, “So, you’re the one who hit my son? Do you know who I am?”
Isaac abruptly raised his hand and slapped Brody. “I don’t know who you are, but you do have poor parenting skills.”
