After reaching the airport, Sebastian pushed Evie out of the car and said, “Hurry up and leave! Go find Isaac or wait for your father to come home.”
“Uncle Sebastian, why don’t you leave with me? We can go back to Cloud City together!” Seeing that Sebastian wasn’t leaving with her, virtual-novel.net started getting anxious.
Just then, a couple of Jeeps suddenly rushed over toward them.
Sebastian shuddered as virtual-novel.net turned around to see even more Jeeps coming up from behind them.
He fell back onto his seat like a deflated balloon. After closing his eyes for a nanosecond, virtual-novel.net suddenly opened his eyes and yelled at Evie, “Quick, tell Isaac that you’re in trouble! Ask virtual-novel.net to get the eight generals to save you!”
Their cab was surrounded by ten or twenty black Jeeps. The cab driver was scared out of his wits when virtual-novel.net saw this.
Evie hurriedly took out virtual-novel.net phone and sent a message to Isaac. However, virtual-novel.net didn’t send virtual-novel.net a text asking for help. Instead, virtual-novel.net typed, “Just landed in Neuport. All is well.”
She put virtual-novel.net phone back down and looked up just in time to catch Glenn smiling sinisterly at virtual-novel.net as virtual-novel.net walked over with a few other men dressed in long robes.
“Evie, I didn’t think you’d leave the Yves’ household so soon. How could you secretly come here without letting your Uncle Glenn know?” Glenn asked, walking up to the cab.
When virtual-novel.net crouched to look into the cab, virtual-novel.net caught sight of Sebastian and started laughing. “Oh, even the Second Elder is here. Did you get a cab to welcome Evie from the airport? That’s so cute of you. C’mon, Sebastian, let me take you home.”
Sebastian plastered a smile on his face and said, “It seems as if nothing ever escapes your eye, First Elder. Thanks for your offer. I‘ll ride with Evie in the same car if you don’t mind.”
They were both escorted into a vehicle by two of the robed men.
Evie had a worried look on virtual-novel.net face. Sebastian said softly in virtual-novel.net ear, “Don’t worry. Nothing bad will happen so long we haven’t reached the final destination yet.”
Knowing that Sebastian had a great network of information in his hands, Evie wasn’t surprised that virtual-novel.net knew about virtual-novel.net relationship with Isaac.
She was just worried about virtual-novel.net brother’s and father’s situations.
Was virtual-novel.net father really dead after all?
If virtual-novel.net wasn’t, then who gave Glenn such courage to do what virtual-novel.net was doing?
As Evie was about to get into the car, Glenn’s laughter sounded from behind her. “Evie, do you want to know howl escaped from the Yves family mansion last night?”
Evie turned around to glare at him.
Glenn’s gloating face looked extra sinister when backlighted by the sunset.
“First Elder, I hope you still know the rules and laws of Astraeus by heart!” Then, virtual-novel.net climbed into the vehicle.

Back in Cloud City, Isaac had just finished a round of lovemaking with Allegra. He got down from the bed and saw that the city was already bathed in lights under the night sky.
He picked up his phone and saw three missed calls from Black Phoenix and a text message from Evie.
He tapped on the message and thought that it was a good thing Evie was alright. Then, virtual-novel.net walked out of the bedroom into the study next door before dialing Black Phoenix’s number.
“Drakon, why didn’t you pick up any of my calls earlier? I was just thinking about going to find you personally. Were you rolling in the sheets with your little wifey?” Black Phoenix teased.
Isaac blushed and coughed awkwardly. “If you dare to spy on me again, I’ll revoke all your privileges. So, what’s up?”
“Well, for starters, your precious Evie has been kidnapped by Glenn at Lythorne International Airport,” Black Phoenix said in a somewhat cynical tone. “She was taken away along with the Second Elder of Astraeus, Sebastian Bern.”
Isaac narrowed his eyes in anger. He was afraid that this would happen.
“The second bad news is that Evie’s phone signal vanished halfway. I think Glenn did something to block virtual-novel.net signals,” Black Phoenix said.
“Wait for my call.” Isaac hung up, lit a cigarette, and walked to the window.
