Laird ran across the muddy paths to the main road at the village.
This was the only road that cars could access. A few cattle were grazing nearby, and the cattle herder was smoking a joint next to them.
Laird then told the cattle herder something.
The man looked shocked at first, then angry. He nodded and led his cattle to the middle of the road before leaving.
A while later, a few luxury cars carefully crawled up that very same dirt road. These were the cars that Harriet and the Warhunt representatives took. Even when taking the Jeep, Laird had to drive very carefully on the dirt road, what more these luxury cars, which were already caked in a thick layer of mud.
