Isaac drove out of Cloud Nine Villas at high speed. At the same time, his phone vibrated.

He took it out and saw it was a call from Evie. He frowned and answered it.

"Isaac, where are you now? Are you on your way to Mt. Equest?" Evie sounded anxious; her voice was shaking. She might have gotten wind of what was happening.

"Yes, I've just left home. Alexis helped me previously. I won't stand by and watch someone like her die." Isaac knew what Evie was about to say. He responded before she could speak, determined and steady.

Evie took a deep breath. Her voice trembled when she said, "Isaac, please promise me you'll never reveal your true identity. The Neal family has four guardian warriors, and two of them are here tonight. In addition to Cyrus, they'll be a deadly threat to you. It might be better if you stay put, I'll go to Alexis."
