Seeing the troubled look on Isaac's face, Allegra came over and slid her arms around his neck as she chuckled and said, "What's wrong? You don't look too happy to learn that your daughter was one of the best students in Southland chosen for the month-long exchange program."
"Ah, it's not that... I'm happy for her, of course. Did you say she'd be gone for a whole month?" Isaac asked, snaking his arms around Allegra's waist.
Allegra immediately blushed and squeaked as she tried to leave, but Isaac held on to her even tighter.
"You asked for it, sweetie. Can't blame me for this," Isaac said with a laugh as he lifted Allegra up and carried her up the stairs.
"Let's take advantage of the situation and fully enjoy ourselves, hmm?"
