"Release my father and brother first. Carrick Jablon, you're a powerful expert from the Upper Martial Reahn. Are you going to deceive a weak woman like me?" Evie spoke while looking toward Carrick.
He disliked Evie's tone and frowned, but he had no interest in keeping Thaddaeus and his son. He hadn't been entirely supportive of this approach. He found it too despicable, but Morgan had convinced him it was foolproof.
"Let them go," Carrick instructed.
Morgan's eyes flashed with cold light as he shouted, "Release them!"
