"Let's go in and have dinner," Isaac said softly.
"We're not waiting for her?" Evie asked, looking back outside.
Seeing that Isaac went inside without answering her, Evie frowned for a moment and got the message. She then followed him in.
On the other side of town, Allegra drove around aimlessly in her car as fresh tears kept falling out of her eyes. She then parked by the roadside and started bawling her eyes out.
After sobbing for a while, she took out her phone and called Emily.
