As the sun set and darkness fell about an hour later, Theron instructed a student to call Isaac, Emily, and the others to the main hall.

Once everyone had gathered, Theron, with his hands behind his back, said, "Mr. Garten, Ninja Lord, we should stick to last night's arrangements and defend our respective sides. As for Ezra, you‘ll stay with me."

Hearing this, Ezra felt a warmth in his heart and was almost moved to tears. He thought Theron would abandon him, but he still sided with him in this crucial moment.
