Isaac could guess what had really happened. Most of all, he believed that his daughter was innocent.
Around 3 o'clock that day, Sally, her husband, and another young couple called Isaac and Allegra to the hospital lobby. The other couple was Sally's younger brother and his wife.
As soon as they saw Isaac and Allegra, the young man rushed up to Isaac and grabbed him by the collar. Then, he spat, "My mother is going to have to spend the rest of her life in a wheelchair. What the f*ck are you going to do about it?"
The young man had a tattooed sleeve and was behaving like a hooligan, provoking Isaac to fight back.
However, Allegra immediately pulled Isaac's arm and said pleadingly to the young man, "Sir, please don't be rash. Let's have a proper talk, okay?"
