Alex was stunned as he stared at the broken phone and Boaz's lifeless body on the ground, still with his eyes wide open.
He puffed up his chest and chided, "Isaac, you're thinking too highly of yourself! At most, you're just a thug in the supreme commander's eyes! Did you really think he'd come over just because you kept me here?!"
"Let me tell you, he won't be coming even if you chop my head right off!" Alex roared.
Alex said this for two reasons. Firstly, he was truly worried that Isaac would make him stay. He didn't want to die so early, after all. And secondly, he knew that Cassius would never step foot into Cloud City, no matter what happened here.
"Really? I know you amount to nothing, but what about Cassius' precious daughter?" Isaac said calmly, puffing out a cloud of smoke into the air.
