Edward jolted and fell limply back onto his seat. His knuckles turned white from gripping the phone too hard, and his hand that held the phone shivered.
He bellowed, "What happened? Why are my savings gone? I didn't make any transactions. Since all my money is gone, you'll be responsible for this. Compensate me, do you hear me?!"
His hysterical bellows echoed throughout the living room.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Gould... We've investigated and found that someone had hacked into your e-commerce payment system to make the transaction. Our policy clearly stated that the bank won't be responsible for such situations."
