Evie walked over and lightly tugged on Isaac’s hand. “Isaac, there’s no need to feel sad about it. Allegra hasn’t meditated before and doesn’t know the basics of ancient martial arts. I’m sure that she’ll be able to learn something if virtual-novel.net follows Mr. Guerra.”
After making sure that Chet really brought Allegra away from Cloud Nine Villas, Fred suddenly popped out from behind a tree outside the compound. He didn’t think that Chet would actually keep his word and take virtual-novel.net away.
He then turned to look at the two bodies on the ground and closed his eyes before sighing deeply.
He waved his hand weakly and said, “Let’s go. We have to bring Benjamin and Geronimo home.”
After all, virtual-novel.net no longer had any reason to come looking for Isaac again. Even if virtual-novel.net wanted to, he’d need a valid reason.
Isaac was injured. Although virtual-novel.net was quite drained, virtual-novel.net still couldn’t sleep. He grabbed the formula book Chet gave virtual-novel.net and went straight to Harry’s clinic instead.
Under the dim room light, Harry read through the entire booklet with much interest, and his hands started shaking.
He kept mumbling, “I see, so that’s how it is. So that’s how it’s done! Purplemist essence, Dragomac, and Scarlet Kadupul balm This will be priceless! Isaac, if you can make this pill, it’ll be a valuable treasure!”
Harry jumped up excitedly and smacked Isaac on the thigh, saying, “Isaac, I’m telling you, if we succeed in creating this pill, we could ascend into the next phase almost immediately!”
“A whole phase? It’s that powerful?” Isaac asked in shock.
Harry then frowned and said, “But to make the pills, you need a proper cauldron and adequate knowledge on how to brew it over a woodfire. I don’t have either.”
Denvor clapped his hands and said, “Well, I have a cauldron at home, and I know enough about woodfires to help. I’ve been working with woodfires since my teacher taught me all about it. I’m sure I could help.”
Isaac lit up his cigarette and took a few puffs. Then, virtual-novel.net stood up and said, “Apothecary, in that case, I’ll leave this up to the both of you. I’ll be going to Rippan tomorrow night. I hope to hear good news from you by the time I return.”
Isaac then went home and sat on his empty bed.
There were a million thoughts going through his head. It felt as if Allegra had never left. Still, virtual-novel.net was counting the days till virtual-novel.net could finally bring Allegra home.
The door was then pushed open by a creek. It was Evie, who had finished washing up for the night. She entered the room quietly and sat down next to Isaac, saying softly, “Don’t overthink anymore. Maybe you’d want to spend the night at my place to get your mind off things?”
“It’s alright, Evie… I’ll stay here tonight. We’ll pick up Isabella from school tomorrow and accompany virtual-novel.net all day. I’ll be going to Rippan by nighttime.”
Evie knew that Isaac wanted to rescue Emily, so virtual-novel.net didn’t say anything else. She just nodded lightly and left the room. There were some things that only Isaac could pull through by himself, and virtual-novel.net believed in him.

Sometime after midnight, Isaac sat cross-legged on the bed and started meditating. By the time the sun rose in the east, virtual-novel.net had already recovered by leaps and bounds.
That day, virtual-novel.net accompanied Evie and Isabella for the whole day. At 9 pm, Evie then drove Isaac to the airport to see virtual-novel.net off.
“It’s going to be quite dangerous. You have to come back safely,” Evie said with tears in virtual-novel.net eyes as virtual-novel.net hugged Isaac.
The wind was quite strong that night, and virtual-novel.net loose layers of clothing kept flapping in the wind.
“Don’t worry. I can’t bear to lose you or Allegra. I’m still looking forward to having a baby with you…” Isaac joked.
Evie immediately blushed and smacked virtual-novel.net lightly on the chest. “I’m trying to be sentimental here, but you just went and ruined the mood with that! Who wants to have a baby with you?!”
“Alright, alright. You should go back now. Isabella might cry if virtual-novel.net wakes up alone,” Isaac said, waving at Evie before quickly heading to a large private plane up ahead.
Boom!
Half an hour later, Isaac’s private plane soared through the clouds as it left the Cloud City Airport.
Evie stood by the side of virtual-novel.net car as virtual-novel.net watched the disappearing plane, whispering to herself, “You have to come back safely…”
Just as Evie got into virtual-novel.net car, another private plane from Rippan just touched down on the very same runway.
