Allegra saw how Fred was looking at her and suddenly shivered. She felt exposed and vulnerable and quickly looked away.
"She's my lover. You have a problem with that?" Isaac asked back in return.
Fred just chuckled and stopped Benjamin from lashing out at anyone.
He then averted his gaze and said to Isaac, "Mr. Garten, I hope you will consider our offer. Good and evil have never mixed in the past. You say you want to enter the Emerald Realm, yet you have an evil being in your presence..."
He continued, "I'm sure that if they knew, the Jensens wouldn't want to have anything to do with you, let alone the Nortons. How about this... I'll pass you my name card. Call me by midnight once you've given our offer a thought. If I still haven't received your call after midnight, then the next time we meet, we will be less courteous with each other."
