Isaac glanced at Alcott, who was visibly excited beside him. However, he was extremely nervous.
He raised his right hand but hesitated to knock on the door. He had imagined countless times how his reunion with his mother would be and how she would look. He had countless grievances and anger to express. But now, his mind went blank as he stood in front of the door.
"Oh, you're driving me crazy! " Alcott reached out to knock on the door himself.
From inside, Raelynn's voice sounded, "Uncle Alcott, who are you with? What's going on?"
"It's your son, Isaac," Alcott replied with a chuckle.
