Todd suddenly raised his knife and pointed it at Isaac.
"Don't force me to do this," he said. His face looked fierce.
They stared at each other for a long time.
Isaac took out a cigarette and lit it up. He looked back at Todd and said, "I'm only going to ask you one question. If you were in my shoes, and your child was about to die soon, would you go or not?"
Todd frowned deeply. He was silent for a few seconds before answering with difficulty, "I have no children."
