Seeing the already broken windows nearby, Maccon frowned and quickly returned to the first-floor hall.

"Miss Diana and Lady Rem are gone. They should have left through the broken windows!"

Isaac scowled when he heard that. He quickly got up and headed downstairs.

In the dim basement room, he squinted at the two huge holes in the windows. He wondered why Diana and Rem had broken the windows to flee. They could leave from upstairs and bid farewell to him.

After returning to the living room, Isaac dialed Diana's number, but he couldn't reach her. It was the same when he dialed Rem's number.
