Allegra and Evie were amazed by Todd's humongous appetite by the time breakfast was over. She had made a double portion for their guest, but Todd still seemed hungry after they were all done.
"Isaac, my mother just called and asked if we wanted to spend Christmas with Andrew. I didn't promise her anything because I wanted your say."
"Sure, the more, the merrier," Isaac said at first, but he then suddenly caught sight of the uneasy look on Allegra's face.
He turned to look at Evie and saw that she also looked uncomfortable. Isaac had forgotten that Evie would be left alone if he spent Christmas with Allegra at his in-laws'.
"Actually, maybe we should just spend Christmas at our home," Isaac hurriedly rectified himself with a chuckle.
