Alec was deep in thought. Edward had a point.
“Margaret, your brother’s opinion is reasonable. You can’t divorce. We’ll apologize to Eugene after a few days. I’ll do whatever it takes for virtual-novel.net to forgive you.”
“Dad…” Margaret felt guilty when virtual-novel.net heard what virtual-novel.net father said.
She gritted virtual-novel.net teeth and growled, “Edward, when will you get rid of Isaac? If not for him, Eugene wouldn’t have known about my whereabouts. It’s all because of him!”
“Okay, I’ll call Young Master Charlie right now. We’ll destroy that bastard.” Edward’s eyes glinted menacingly.
He dialed Charles’ number straightaway.

Two days later, Alec brought Margaret and Andrew to Riverview.
Isaac had just bought a rocking chair and was now rocking in it, enjoying his drink. Eugene was sitting on the sofa, watching a stand-up comedy. He was cheerful until virtual-novel.net saw his guests, and his expression turned sour.
Margaret walked up to Eugene and suddenly kneeled in front of him. She sobbed, “Eugene, I’m very sorry… Please forgive me…”
Allegra came out from the kitchen when virtual-novel.net heard the noise. She saw Margaret kneeling in front of virtual-novel.net father and quickly went up to mediate between them.
“Eugene, Margaret messed up, no doubt. Please go easy on her. I promise you virtual-novel.net won’t repeat virtual-novel.net mistake,” Alec said with remorse.
Eugene was shocked and bewildered. He flew off the handle the other day and did not think much of his actions. Now that virtual-novel.net had calmed down, Margaret’s apology troubled him.
“Hmph!” He snorted and went into his room.
“Get up quickly, Mom… Dad is just feeling shy. He has already cooled down.” Allegra helped Margaret up.
Isaac knew Eugene was not only an honest man, but virtual-novel.net was also soft-hearted. Allegra inherited these traits from him. Eugene and Margaret had been married for decades, after all divorce would not be easy.
When they were having lunch, someone came looking for Isaac. “Mr. Garten! Is Mr. Garten home?”
Everyone looked up. Isaac went out and saw Phillip and Old Taylor in the living room.
“Mr. Garten, something terrible happened!” Old Taylor walked up to Isaac anxiously.
“Old Taylor, what is it that worries you? Have a seat.” Isaac sat on the sofa.
Old Taylor grasped Isaac’s wrists and said, panicked, “It’s all because of my worthless son. His promotion request wasn’t successful. So, this morning, virtual-novel.net brought Ana to the Owens family in a hurry.”
“What has Diana got to do with your son’s promotion?” Isaac chuckled as virtual-novel.net lit a cigarette.
Old Taylor said spitefully, “He wants to ally with the Owens family through Ana’s marriage. The Owens family felt greatly humiliated during Ana’s birthday banquet, and Warwick’s younger brother is my son’s superior, this is enough for us to figure out the whole story. The problem is Ana is terrified of virtual-novel.net father, so virtual-novel.net won’t say anything even if virtual-novel.net is truly unwilling. Mr. Garten, you’re the only one I can come to.”
Isaac frowned, detesting Albert secretly. “Alright, I’ll go and have a look.”

In the Owens family’s house located in Aurum County, Albert and his wife put on flattering smiles as they spoke to Warwick and Charles.
“Charlie, we’re here to apologize for what happened last time. Ana is actually fond of you,” Jane buttered Charles up.
Diana was in virtual-novel.net uniform. She lowered virtual-novel.net head and allowed virtual-novel.net tears to trickle down virtual-novel.net cheeks. She gripped virtual-novel.net fists so hard that they left marks.
Warwick did not say anything while Charles smirked, saying, “Mrs. Taylor, we don’t deserve your apology. After all, Old Taylor made it very clear that day. Ana’s marriage is solely up to her… Ana, will you marry me?”
Charles smiled at Diana.
