A man in a pilot uniform hurried over to Rowell with a worried look.
He greeted virtual-novel.net and said, “Mr. Sarge, we’re unable to fly any faster than the jet behind us. He’s right on our tail now.”
“Are you telling me that we should surrender and turn back?” Rowell suddenly roared, “Mr. Sid is on the verge of death! If we let virtual-novel.net go, do you really think Mr. Sid will be able to make it out alive?”
“Then what should we do?”
“Keep flying! Full speed ahead. I refuse to believe he’ll fire at us knowing we have a hostage here,” Rowell said, narrowing his eyes at Emily.
The pilot looked stunned for a while, but then virtual-novel.net quickly nodded and returned to the cockpit.
At that time, Isaac was only less than a third of a mile away from the plane ahead of him. His radar was locked onto the target in front.
He could easily take down the entire plane if virtual-novel.net wanted to. However, as Rowell said, Isaac couldn’t risk shooting them down because Emily was still on the plane.
Just then, Arian’s voice appeared in his microphone again, “Isaac, I’m warning you not to do anything stupid! You’re already above open waters now. Come back!”
Isaac knew that international rules were in effect, but virtual-novel.net really didn’t want to give up and watch the bad guys leave scot-free.
There was an icy glint in his eyes as virtual-novel.net spoke into his mic, saying, “This is your final warning. If you don’t turn back now, I will shoot.”
He then pushed a red square button and placed his right hand back on the controls, his thumb just hovering above the red button.
A small compartment below the fighter jet appeared, and two mounted machine guns were gradually lowered.
Isaac didn’t dare to use the missiles, but if virtual-novel.net was careful enough, virtual-novel.net could aim the machine guns at the plane’s wings and force them to land.
Since there was no response whatsoever from the plane ahead of him, Isaac narrowed his eyes and pressed the red button under his thumb.
The guns under his jet immediately opened fire.
Dozens of bullets were fired at the right wing of the private plane ahead. The plane jerked and suddenly shuddered as the pilots struggled to maintain their altitude. Two bullets had gone right through the wing, and the aircraft was losing balance.
Rowell let out an ugly sneer and cried through gritted teeth, “He’s mad! He’s gone completely mad! He actually opened fire at us!”
The pilot from before ran back to the cabin and asked, “Mr. Sarge! We can’t go back anymore. The wing is very badly damaged, and we won’t be able to cross the sea. What should we do?”
“Have we reached open waters?”
“Yes, we have!”
“Cut the altitude and open the rear hatch,” Rowell snarled.
Then, virtual-novel.net got up and grabbed Emily and said threateningly, “Pretty lady, if I die, then both of us will die together!”
When virtual-novel.net saw the plane ahead of virtual-novel.net flying downward, from 9,000 feet above sea level down to 5,000, then to 2,000, Isaac followed them in their descent. He glanced at the time and saw that virtual-novel.net was leaving the open waters in less than five minutes.
He would shoot again if the plane didn’t turn back in the next five minutes!
Two minutes later, the private plane suddenly turned back. However, Isaac didn’t see the two figures jumping out of the plane.
Half an hour later, the shaky private plane landed at a random airport along the coast. Isaac also landed and sprinted toward the private plane ahead as soon as virtual-novel.net got out of his jet. At the same time, five dozen armed soldiers surrounded the private plane and aimed their guns at it.
The chute opened, and two pilots appeared with their hands raised above their heads. Fear was written all over their faces.
