"Also, Ebert came over to greet Isaac politely, yet he insulted and even broke Ebert's ribs! Is this the way you taught your son?" Vince ended his tirade with a shout.
Isaac squinted and glanced at Ebert, who smirked back at him. The story Vince had heard was far from the truth.
"I believe my son wouldn't insult someone without cause, nor would he be the first to attack. Vin, you should get your facts straight before coming here," Raelynn replied, looking annoyed as she turned to leave.
"Stop right there!" Vince roared, "If Isaac doesn‘t apologize to Wren today, I won't mind disciplining your son!"
Just as Raelynn was about to speak, Ebert coldly interrupted, "Isaac, if you don't want to apologize to my mother, that's fine. I've already called my brothers back! If you have the guts, fight the three of us. If you win, you don't need to apologize to my mother; if you lose, you not only have to apologize to my mother but to me as well!"
