A distance away, Alexis opened her mouth to cough up a mouthful of blood. Agony and shock were written on her face.
Isaac raised a hand, and a beam of light shot past, dissipating the invisible but lethal breath of air in front of him.
"Cyrus, you are also an elder. This is improper. Get up." Glenn grabbed Cyrus and hauled him to his feet.
"First Elder, please save us. This beast has already killed thousands of my Eastwell soldiers. If you hadn't made it here in time, my grandson and I may have already... I may have already been sent to the netherworlds!" Cyrus groused, gritting his teeth and choking back tears.
Glenn looked at Isaac, then at the four generals before shifting his gaze back to Isaac's face.
