Margaret entered Watson's office just as Watson finished speaking with an overseas client over the phone.

When he saw Margaret, he greeted her enthusiastically, "You're Allegra's mother, right? Please, have a seat. I'll ask them to get you some drinks."

They chatted for a while before Margaret stated the reason she came.

"Mr. Kane, Ally is a shy girl. She has plans to partner up with her uncle to establish a new company. But they are short on funds now, so Ally has been losing sleep over this issue. As her mother, of course, I'm worried. i have no choice but to ask you for help." Margaret prepared a perfect explanation.

Watson was surprised. "Why didn't she tell me of her plans? She could've just called. So, how much funds is she lacking?"
