Jonas and his assistant waited for over two hours outside the study before the door opened again.

Isaac walked over to Jonas and said lowly, "Supreme Commander Baylor, I just discussed things with Connor. I think it is advisable for the House of Custos to stop sending reinforcements to the northwestern border."

Jonas' expression froze. He frowned and said, "Stop sending reinforcements? Darkit invaded our borders by over 200 miles, and there are the three newly discovered uranium mines. Wouldn't we just be letting them in?"

"Just let them. Since Darkit dared to collude with some shameless people to snag a piece of Cynea's pie, I'll make them pay the price..."

Seeing how Connor stayed silent, Jonas was a bit conflicted. After all, this had to do with the nation. If they simply followed this plan, the other kingdoms would think Cynea was an easy target. If they fought back, the others wouldn't dare to try their luck.
