Isaac didn't know about Allegra's predicament at the new company. He was currently at the Beacon Clinic. Watson was now awake and in good spirits.
In the hospital room, Edgar, whose back was bandaged up, looked pallid. He stared at Roger and Daisy, who were kneeling at the foot of the bed.
"Watson, how should we handle these two animals?" Edgar turned to look at Watson, who sat up.
Watson sighed. He looked at Isaac, who was smoking off to the side, and asked, "Mr. Garten, what do you think?"
Roger and Daisy had been kneeling the whole night, but even now, they didn't feel a hint of sleepiness.
