At the city's eastern precinct, Isaac got out of the car with a cold expression. He and Serena rushed inside.
She'd been stunned to hear that Allegra had been arrested. She only heard the full story later.
Allegra wasn't locked in the interrogation room but in a private office. A female officer was asking her questions and taking down notes. Overall, her attitude was quite pleasant.
Meanwhile, Andrew and Captain Foley stood outside, smoking and chatting. They were completely unaware that someone had entered from behind.
"Captain Foley, I'm telling you without a doubt that Allegra was the one who took my mother. She might even be in danger right now. You won't get anything out of her just by asking a few questions like this, you need to go harder on her."
