After Isaac left, Cassius continued crying and sobbing in front of Ethan. He wailed that he had never done anything wrong since becoming the supreme commander. He only had the country's well-being at heart.
He also said he never told Ethan about Albert because he was trying to keep it within the department itself. He also complained that Isaac kept getting in his way of work and that the other party slapping him in public was the last straw.
"Mr. Grannel, did you hear what he said? He threatened me! He said that he wanted to see Albert and Zachary before midnight tonight. I'm the supreme commander, why should I listen to him and get threatened by him?"
"Mr. Grannel, what should I do about this?" Cassius asked, giving the frowning Ethan a twisted look.
Connor narrowed his eyes at Cassius.
