A gigantic eagle landed slowly on the ground. Even with its wings folded, it stood over ten feet tall. Its yellowish eyes appeared sharp, most likely due to its owner's imposing presence on its back.
Upon seeing the old man atop the eagle, the surrounding servants and guards were momentarily stunned before kneeling in unison and shouting, "Welcome home, my Lord!"
Raelynn and Vince turned to see the old man. They promptly lowered their heads and called out, "Father..."
Nearby, the injured Max and Noel supported each other, approached, and called out, "Grandfather..."
The old man on the eagle's back looked over to the right, where Ebert lay on the ground, before turning his gaze to Isaac.
