The Ninja Lord finally stopped when virtual-novel.net heard Isaac’s threat. She continued glaring angrily at Isaac, nonetheless.
“I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. Look carefully, and you’ll see that this is my room. The person who came into my room last night was Emily. I honestly have no idea why it turned out to be you in the morning!” Isaac yelled at her.
The Ninja Lord didn’t say anything else. Instead, virtual-novel.net just wrapped the covers around virtual-novel.net and disappeared from the bed.
She reappeared in virtual-novel.net own room and stood before virtual-novel.net mirror, letting the sheets fall to the ground in a heap. She stared at herself in the mirror, reaching up to touch virtual-novel.net own face, the face that she’d never once revealed to the world before.
There was a cold glimmer in virtual-novel.net eyes. However, virtual-novel.net simply couldn’t remember what happened the night before.
Why would virtual-novel.net willingly climb into Isaac’s bed and spend the night with him?
And why did Isaac insist that it was Emily who entered his room last night?
What in the world did happen?
She ignored the pains in virtual-novel.net body.
First, virtual-novel.net had to get to the bottom of this. She put on a change of clothing and sat down at virtual-novel.net table. She retrieved the three copper coins from virtual-novel.net pocket and started virtual-novel.net spell once more.
As the coins started vibrating on the table, virtual-novel.net scattered a layer of white powder onto the coins again. A light breeze appeared, and the white powder formed two words, “Esmeralda Snow”.
When virtual-novel.net saw the name on the table, virtual-novel.net stared at it in utter disbelief.
Is Emily’s spirit residing inside my body now?
What the actual f*ck?!
She let out an angry roar as virtual-novel.net cursed.
Isaac could hear virtual-novel.net from two doors away in his own room. He’d already put on his clothes at this point. He frowned and lit up a cigarette, preparing to go down to the underground room to have another look.
Just as virtual-novel.net pulled open the door, virtual-novel.net saw the Ninja Lord appearing before him. However, this time, virtual-novel.net wasn’t wearing a mask anymore.
“I’ve resurrected your lover! Now it’s your turn to find the person I’m looking for!” virtual-novel.net said, expressionless.
“Resurrected? Are you kidding me? Where is she? I don’t see her,” virtual-novel.net retorted with a snort.
The look in the Ninja Lord’s eyes grew frostier. She then slowly pointed a finger at herself.
“Why are you pointing at yourself? I didn’t even say anything about last night! I… Huh?”
“Emily’s spirit is inside my body!”
Isaac nearly tripped on his own feet when virtual-novel.net heard that.
“Did you think I’d believe you if you said that?” He burst into laughter.
If virtual-novel.net was Emily, then who was this woman standing before him?
“What, did you think that you were my type? Or did you think that I was the type who would crawl into your bed at night?”
Recalling this made virtual-novel.net think of the incident this morning again, and virtual-novel.net gritted virtual-novel.net teeth in anger. She didn’t know why things turned out like this. There was no denying it, however. It was most probably because she’d been interrupted by Roy and nearly got attacked by the spirit of Lady Os in the middle of the ritual yesterday, causing virtual-novel.net to cut the Soul-Returning Spell short.
Isaac frowned deeply as virtual-novel.net stared at the person standing before him. “Then, what should I…”
“Find virtual-novel.net for me, or else you’re dead meat!” the Ninja Lord exclaimed, another burst of murderous aura suddenly appearing behind her.
Isaac recalled yesterday’s event and concluded everything was just beyond his comprehension. He did find it slightly suspicious, though.
However, thinking that the Ninja Lord had kept virtual-novel.net word and revived Emily at the risk of virtual-novel.net own life, virtual-novel.net said in a low voice, “Wait for a while…”
He took out his phone and dialed Black Phoenix’s number.
As soon as the other party picked up, Isaac hadn’t even managed to get a word in when Black Phoenix said, “I’ve found the person you’re looking for, and we’re confirming the identity now. What do you want me to do next?”
“Make sure you got the right person and send virtual-novel.net along to me,” Isaac said, hanging up after that.
“Found her?” the Ninja Lord asked.
Isaac nodded and said, “They‘re in the midst of confirming virtual-novel.net identity. If all is well, they’ll bring virtual-novel.net over soon.”
