"Are you Mr. G-Garten?" Hazel's face lit up with delight.
"I can't believe you still remember me, Hazel. I hope you don't mind me dropping by unannounced," Isaac said with a light laugh.
Hazel shook her head and waved a hand. "I don't mind at all. Oh, I didn't know you were coming, Mr. Garten. I went down to the fields early in the morning... Come on in. Sorry, the house is so dirty and messy."
Hazel never thought that the man who helped her after her husband died would come to the house.
Because of her poor circumstances, she could only gather a few chairs to place in the living room. Then, she went to make coffee for Isaac and Maxwell.
