Leslie kept boasting about her so-called friend as the three of them walked inside the hospital.

They arrived on the second floor and saw a man in his mid-40s sitting in his office. He wore glasses, and his face looked incredibly stern.

Leslie went inside the office to speak privately with him.

A while later, the door opened again, and she came out with an excited look on her face. She said to Holly, "Ms. Lambert, I've just spoken to Dr. Woods, and he's informed the payment counter to give you the discount. Give me the card and the PIN number now. I'll go and help you pay. Dr. Woods will operate on your husband this afternoon."

When she heard this, Holly was beyond grateful, and tears slid down her cheeks. She kept nodding her head at Leslie and thanking her.
