At 6 pm, Allegra stood at the entrance to the main cafeteria of Cloud City University. She wore a black and white striped tee, jeans, and white sneakers. She had come half an hour early.
She had met Isaac for the first time here. She had light makeup on, and virtual-novel.net hair was pulled into a ponytail. She looked just like the students milling through the cafeteria here.
The only thing different about virtual-novel.net was that virtual-novel.net looked slightly more mature than the female students here. Nonetheless, virtual-novel.net skin and face still attracted the gazes of many of the male students here.
She held virtual-novel.net bag with both hands, feeling slightly nervous. She wasn’t sure whether Isaac still remembered this place. She was beginning to feel some regret. She should’ve just told virtual-novel.net the exact location in the first place.
It was now rush hour at the cafeteria. Young students were making a beeline for this place with their cliques.
Time was ticking by quickly. Allegra was beginning to get antsy. Twice, virtual-novel.net took out virtual-novel.net phone, wanting to give Isaac a call, but virtual-novel.net had clenched virtual-novel.net jaw and put it back.
As 6.30 pm approached, virtual-novel.net still saw no sign of Isaac. Disappointment clouded virtual-novel.net gaze.
It seemed that virtual-novel.net really didn’t remember this place. But if virtual-novel.net didn’t remember, couldn’t virtual-novel.net just call me to ask?
What an idiot!
She didn’t even realize that a group of male students had begun to linger a distance away, observing her.
“Is that a new student or perhaps a teacher? She’s f*cking stunning!”
“She must be a teacher. Her figure is out of this world. Look at virtual-novel.net chest and waist, damn. Is virtual-novel.net waiting for someone?”
“Who cares who she’s waiting for? Stud, you’ve got the most guts and the best at picking up girls. Why don’t you go over and ask for virtual-novel.net number?”
Stud was a tall young man with a stylish haircut and was dressed in branded clothes from head to toe.
He chuckled, casting derisive glances at his friends, saying, “You cowards can’t do anything. Watch how l do it!”
As virtual-novel.net said that, virtual-novel.net slowly approached Allegra.
At that moment, a black Jeep with a military plate sped over. It took a sharp turn before expertly backing into the parking lot in front of the cafeteria.
Isaac, who was also dressed in a T-shirt and sneakers, quickly alighted from the car, holding a bouquet of red roses in his hands.
He already had a crew cut, so virtual-novel.net couldn’t really style his hair. The stylist had put together several outfits for him, but virtual-novel.net had turned them down immediately. In the end, virtual-novel.net had simply washed his face and thrown on some casual clothes before coming.
When one of the students saw Isaac come down from the car with a bouquet of roses in his hand, virtual-novel.net quickly shouted at his friend, “Sh*t! She has a man. Stud, get back here!”
Allegra’s attention was wholly on Isaac. Seeing Isaac walk toward virtual-novel.net with a big bouquet, virtual-novel.net face flushed. She couldn’t help but chuckle.
“Hey, beautiful, long time no see. Can I ask you out for dinner?” Isaac jogged over to Allegra and handed virtual-novel.net the roses.
At that moment, Stud also approached Allegra.
He was solely focused on Allegra and didn’t even see Isaac come. Just as virtual-novel.net was about to speak, virtual-novel.net saw a bouquet of bright red roses handed to Allegra.
Allegra hesitated briefly, virtual-novel.net face instantly turning red all the way to virtual-novel.net ears.
“Hey, handsome, you sure are direct.”
The moment virtual-novel.net saw Isaac with flowers, virtual-novel.net felt like virtual-novel.net had been transported back to virtual-novel.net university days. Despite saying that, virtual-novel.net still accepted the roses with a smile.
Isaac turned to look at the stunned Stud and smiled. “Boy, is something wrong?”
