“Where did virtual-novel.net go?” Isaac asked with a frown.
“W-We don’t know. None of us dared to stop virtual-novel.net from leaving.”
Screech!
The car screeched to a halt by the roadside. Isaac immediately took out his phone and dialed Evie’s number.
“Evie, where are you?” Isaac asked in a low voice.
“Isaac, I’m on my way to the airport. If Glenn is really getting help from the Deviant Cult, that means my brother is in great danger. I’m going to look for him,” Evie replied in an anxious voice.
After Isaac left earlier, Evie couldn’t help thinking about Glenn and his possible collaboration with the Deviant Cult. If Glenn was really working with the Deviant Cult, that meant virtual-novel.net was no longer loyal.
With virtual-novel.net father gone and herself no longer under his control, his next target could only be virtual-novel.net little brother in Neuport.
“Come back. It’s not as simple as you think it is. Or, you can ask your brother to come to Cloud City instead,” Isaac answered in a rather angry voice.
Beep, beep, beep…
The line on Evie’s side was cut off. When Isaac called back, she’d already turned off virtual-novel.net phone.
“F*ck!” Isaac got out of the car and lit up a cigarette to think.
If Glenn found out now that Evie was on virtual-novel.net way to Neuport, virtual-novel.net would be in grave danger.
Neuport was where the Astraeus headquarters were located. It was frequented by many, many powerful martial fighters. If virtual-novel.net suddenly went there, it would make Glenn even more suspicious of his motives.
His phone suddenly vibrated with a new text message.
He opened the text message and saw that it was from Evie. It said, “Don’t worry. I’ll take care of myself and not let Glenn find out where I went.”
Isaac sighed. There was nothing else virtual-novel.net could do about this.
He walked up to the side of the car and said to Jeremiah, “You can go back first. I’ll get a cab to the airport.”
“But what about my grandson, Drakon…”
“Go and look for virtual-novel.net at Jasmin Hotel. Also, since your family is in charge of guarding the Westerton Gate, the next time the Dusk Soldiers return, you must quickly learn how to fight together. I’m afraid that Glenn is about to stage a mutiny.”
Gasp!
Jeremiah’s eyes widened into saucers when virtual-novel.net heard that his grandson might still be alive and that Glenn would rebel. He just didn’t know what to think.
“Don’t worry, Drakon. I will not go against my words,” Jeremiah answered with a solemn look on his face.
After seeing Isaac leave in a cab, Jeremiah sighed heavily. He knew his entire family was now directly linked with Isaac since they left for Southernham to look for Joseph.
On the way to the airport, Isaac sent a message to Black Phoenix. Then, virtual-novel.net closed his eyes and went to sleep.
The plane landed in Cloud City at the break of dawn.
When Allegra heard that they could finally start working on Pegasus N o. 1, virtual-novel.net hugged Isaac happily and kissed virtual-novel.net gratefully on the lips.
Isaac went upstairs to catch up on some sleep.

That afternoon, Harry called virtual-novel.net up.
“Isaac, the b*stard has already told us about the antidote formula. What do you want me to do with virtual-novel.net now?” Harry asked with pride.
“Kill virtual-novel.net and throw virtual-novel.net in the Cloud River,” Isaac answered before hanging up.
When virtual-novel.net finally woke up again hours later, it was already 5 pm. The sun was just setting outside.
He went downstairs and met Allegra on the way in.
“Oh, you’re up! Isabella’s gone to Pecling today. You looked so exhausted that I didn’t want to wake you up,” Allegra said, putting on virtual-novel.net indoor slippers.
“Isabella is in Pecling? What for?”
Allegra smiled widely and said, “For a good thing, of course! Isabella was the best student chosen by virtual-novel.net school to participate in an exchange program at Emeria Elementary School in Pecling. I think there were only three students chosen to represent the whole of Southland.”
Isaac suddenly recalled his daughter telling virtual-novel.net about such a thing before. However, there was something off about it, but virtual-novel.net just didn’t know what.
The exchange program seemed too sudden to be true.
