Mizar had lost all feelings for her two uncles. The thirst for power had most likely been buried deep within them for the past two years. Only after her grandfather passed away did those buried seeds begin to sprout.
Hearing Mizar's words, Corbin's expression changed. He approached her with a peculiar smile.
"My dear niece, at this point, you're unable to even save yourself. Yet, you want to protect them both?" His gaze grew ferocious.
"Back then, you never had the right to become the sect head. If my father didn't pity you because of how you lost your parents, he would not have made such a foolish decision," he continued, leaning toward Mizar's ears.
Although his voice was soft, every word was dripping with hatred. He was still unhappy about what happened after the death of Mizar's father, who was also his eldest brother.
