The grudge between Isaac and the Crowe family was not a secret among those who worked in Crowe Pharmaceuticals and Beacon Clinic. However, they never expected this young doctor, whom Mr. Crowe approved of, to be working for Isaac.
Kenny was not the only one in shock, Emily was surprised too. However, virtual-novel.net doubted that this shabby clinic could defeat Beacon Clinic, which had been operating for decades.
Not only was Mr. Crowe a renowned doctor and highly influential in the medical line, but his son’s company, Crowe Pharmaceuticals, was one of the top three companies across Southland in this field. It was too absurd of an idea to try to wipe them out!
“Hah, I see… I’ll take my leave then. You should figure your way out of this situation for now, though. Haha!” Kenny turned to leave.
After a few steps, virtual-novel.net paused and mocked, “Let me remind you. The person in charge of confiscating your clinic earlier was Knox Graham, Head of the Inspection Division. I’m going to get a drink with virtual-novel.net now and probably discuss the future of your poor clinic.”
“That guy is sick, and it’s a sickness that only I can cure. Just wait and see…” Harry chuckled in reply.
Emily was thinking of telling Harry about virtual-novel.net medical condition, but after some hesitation, virtual-novel.net decided to leave.
Meanwhile, Kenny returned to Beacon Clinic and headed for George’s treatment room. He said softly, “Mr. Crowe, that punk did not know what’s good for him. He had a lot to say for himself too.”
“What did virtual-novel.net say?” George put down his pen and smiled.
“He said virtual-novel.net would soon put us out of business. A-Also, virtual-novel.net said virtual-novel.net was working for Isaac…”
George’s face changed. He said coldly, “Working for Isaac? That Isaac? That’s not much of a surprise to me… However, I’m afraid it would take much more than his skills to quash Beacon Clinic out of this field.”
“Obviously. You’re a leading figure in Southland’s field of medicine, no one can compare to you… Is Knox still waiting downstairs? Take a box of saffron from the warehouse as a gift for him. That aside, ask virtual-novel.net to monitor that punk across the street. I’ll ensure that virtual-novel.net goes bankrupt before I do.”
George’s eyes glinted sinisterly.

Knox was in the waiting room when virtual-novel.net saw Kenny walking toward him, holding a velvet box. Knox grinned.
“Mr. Graham, please accept this gift as a token of appreciation from Mr. Crowe.” Kenny smiled as virtual-novel.net presented the box.
Knox politely refused a few times before accepting the gift. He opened the box and glanced at the contents. Then, his grin grew wider. “It’s too kind of Mr. Crowe. This gift is too precious.”
“Mr. Graham, it’s about time for lunch. I made a reservation in a hotel. Do you care to join me?”
Knox was about to reply when virtual-novel.net felt a sharp pain in his lower abdomen. He cried out in pain, loosened his grip on the box, and slowly slid onto the floor.
“Mr. Graham, what’s wrong? Mr. Graham?”
“My stomach… It’s painful. It’s terribly painful.” Cold sweat broke out on Knox’s forehead. He curled up in a fetal position on the floor.
Kenny shouted for the doctors and nurses to bring Knox into the nearest treatment room.
A doctor examined Knox’s body and frowned. “That’s weird… Nothing seems to be wrong with him. Should we ask Mr. Crowe to take a look at him?”
“Quick! Get Mr. Crowe quickly. Ouch! Faster! It’s killing me.” Knox’s face was as pale as a sheet, and his clothes were drenched in sweat.
George came after a short while.
He ran another round of examination, after which virtual-novel.net frowned and commented, “From the looks of it, it’s a common case of gastritis, but it shouldn’t be causing virtual-novel.net this much pain.” Then, virtual-novel.net decided, “I’ll try treating virtual-novel.net with dry needling.”
A bunch of them watched as George pulled out a case of needles and used four of them, two long and two short, to treat Knox. Although virtual-novel.net did his best, Knox was still moaning in pain.
“Tsk, why is it not working?” George was baffled.
“Mr. Graham must be seriously ill for Mr. Crowe to be at a dead end,” a nurse whispered.
Suddenly, Knox remembered the incident at Springview Clinic and screamed, “Quick, send me to the other clinic, where the punk is…”
“That punk? Hmph, if even I can’t heal you, do you think virtual-novel.net can do something about your illness? You must be kidding me. I think you should visit the hospitals in the provincial capital,” George retorted.
“Send me over quickly! Ouch… This pain is killing me for real…”
Kenny also remembered what Harry had said. He hesitated before telling George, “Mr. Crowe, what if… We do as virtual-novel.net says? It’s his own wish, after all. It’s not…”
“Alright then, though it’s futile.” George understood his intentions but was scornful.
