Hera touched her shoulder. The liquid dripping onto her was sticky. She had no idea what it was, but she could still hear the python hissing above her head.
Rubbing it, she realized it wasn't river water. She reached into her backpack to take something.
She pulled out a phone, only to find it had been turned off after being submerged in water. After a bit of searching, she found a lighter.
A faint flame illuminated Hera's face. She lowered her gaze and spotted a few dark green liquid spots on Isaac's face, which were similar to those on her shoulder.
Raising her head, she was startled to see the massive head of the python only 15 feet above her. The dark green liquid was dripping from its month.
