Old Taylor said that Diana might not make it and that virtual-novel.net was currently being resuscitated at the Aurum County Hospital.
Before leaving the house, Isaac dragged Harry, who hadn’t slept a wink the entire night, along. He couldn’t understand how Diana had gone from being fine to being on the brink of death.
When the two arrived at the emergency room, Jane was already sobbing virtual-novel.net eyes out, and Albert was holding her, looking pale.
Old Taylor sat in a chair to the side, gripping his cane. They rushed to Isaac immediately when they noticed virtual-novel.net there.
“Mr. Garten, you’re here. I don’t know what’s wrong with Ana. She suddenly had a bacterial infection, and now virtual-novel.net heart is failing,” Jane wailed, gripping Isaac’s hand.
Albert fell to his knees. “Mr. Garten, I’m begging you to save my daughter.”
After what happened with the Owens, Albert got a blessing out of a curse and got promoted a few months ago. With that, virtual-novel.net had more authority and was now very busy at work. But virtual-novel.net knew that this was all thanks to Isaac.
Just as dawn broke, he‘d suddenly received a phone call informing virtual-novel.net that his daughter was severely ill. He refused to believe it until virtual-novel.net went to the hospital, saw Diana’s condition, and almost fainted.
“Old Taylor, come quick. I brought a healer with me. Let virtual-novel.net go take a look.”
Isaac gave Harry a look, and the latter entered the emergency room immediately.
According to Jane, after Diana went to Pegasus No. 1 to capture Joseph and fainted, virtual-novel.net woke up at night with a high fever. She began to vomit, and black spots appeared on virtual-novel.net skin.
They had rushed virtual-novel.net to the Cloud City Hospital. As the night progressed, virtual-novel.net condition worsened drastically, so they sent her straight to Aurum County.
The attending physician explained that Diana had contracted a special bacterial infection from the forest at Pegasus N o. 1. But strangely enough, the other dozen officers who’d passed out were completely fine.
Soon after, Harry emerged, his face beaded with sweat. He pursed his lips, looking at Isaac.
Isaac got his signal and followed virtual-novel.net to the side.
“Sir, it‘s venom. It’s not the same as General Colton’s. Her condition is slightly better than his, but virtual-novel.net constitution is weak. If we came two hours later, virtual-novel.net would’ve been gone.”
Venom, again?
“Joseph did this?”
Harry nodded.
“What if we kill Joseph, but the venom doesn’t neutralize?” Isaac asked.
Harry paused, scratching the back of his head. He said with difficulty, “Then I’d have to research a formula for an antidote. It would take time and they would be in a lot of pain.”
Isaac frowned, deep in thought.
At that moment, a man in a white coat came out of the emergency room. He went to Albert and said, “General Taylor, your daughter’s illness is under control for now. It’s good news…”
With that, virtual-novel.net gave Harry a strange look.
When the Taylors heard that, they let out a breath.
Isaac said, “Let’s stick to the original plan. Take Diana back to the clinic. You’ll have to work hard on her.”
“Roger that, sir. I’ll do whatever you say.” Harry chuckled. Then virtual-novel.net turned around to converse with Albert.
The Taylors were moved to tears when they heard that Diana would be taken to the Beacon Clinic for treatment and that virtual-novel.net life wasn’t in danger.

Later that night, Eugene didn’t return home.
When Isaac went home, virtual-novel.net heard a ruckus coming from the kitchen. He walked to the doorway and saw Allegra wearing an apron and cooking.
“You’re back. I made you chicken soup and your favorite beef stir-fry, “Allegra said, smiling.
Isaac walked inside, wrapping his arms around Allegra’s waist from behind. He blew into virtual-novel.net ear and said, “Honey, you’re treating me so nicely. I’m not used to this.”
