The four of them entered with fake smiles on their faces.
"Margaret, I'm here to visit you and my brother for Christmas," the woman in the red jacket said, sparing Isaac and Allegra half a glance before yelling in the direction of the kitchen.
She proceeded to ignore Isaac and Allegra altogether.
But Allegra got up and walked toward Miranda, saying with a smile, "Merry Christmas, Aunt Miranda, Uncle Jordan..."
"You must be Allegra. I heard that your face had been disfigured, but you still look alright," Miranda said, scoffing after giving her the once-over.
