He took countless deep breaths to calm himself down. Then, he gritted his teeth and dialed the number on his phone.
He knew there would only be two outcomes from this call. He would either be noticed and live an easy life or get scolded and thrown to the depths of hell for the rest of his life. There was no in-between.
The call connected. But nobody picked up the first time. Oberon tried calling again for the second and third time.
Finally, the other side picked up after more than half a minute.
An angry voice sounding like it belonged to a middle-aged man came through, "Who is this?!"
