Isaac didn't know how much time had passed. His head was pounding. He forced himself to sit up. Then, he felt around for the light switch. He found himself lying on a bed in a hotel room.

He was stunned.

When he looked out the window, he saw that it was already morning. He shook his head. He remembered going out for supper with Diana, and then, all was blurred.

How did I end up drunk?

He picked up his phone from his nightstand and dialed Diana's number. But her phone was already switched off. He then remembered that Diana said she was going to leave the country.
