Ethan nodded with a wry smile as he re plied, "Hugh and his men tried to ambush Isaac last time. Thankfully, Donovan showed up in time, or I wouldn't have gotten away unscathed..."
"Rose, my reason for coming today was to suggest you take Isaac and the others back to the Emerald Gate. It's safer there. I have a feeling Morgan might have already located the dragon vein," Ethan said as he furrowed his brows.
If Isaac had been present, he would surely have been shocked by this fact. Ethan, a figure who almost ruled the world, turned out to be his grandmother's brother and his granduncle.
Under the streetlights, the two elderly figures paused their walk.
