During the holidays, Isaac accompanied Isabella every minute of the day. He whipped up various dishes for his precious daughter and brought virtual-novel.net on vacation to different parts of Southland.

One week went by in the blink of an eye.
On the way back to Isabella’s school, Isabella suddenly patted Isaac’s shoulder, tilted virtual-novel.net head, and said hesitantly, “Daddy, our teacher told me the school might recommend me to a better school because I was an excellent student.”
“A better school? That’s marvelous, Isabella,” Isaac replied with a smile.
“I don’t want to. I don’t want to be far away from Daddy and Mummy!” Isabella pursed virtual-novel.net lips and looked reluctant.
Isaac smiled. “Don’t be mad, Isabella. Your teacher has to inform us if they plan to send you to another school. Don’t worry…”
There were indeed many schools better than Carmine Elementary School, but those were in Pecling or Seascape. Some were even in Neuport, a military-based area. Teachers would have to go through parents on such matters.
It was 5 pm when virtual-novel.net returned home. Eugene had not been preparing meals ever since virtual-novel.net took over the garment factory.
Suddenly, Isaac’s phone vibrated. He picked it up and saw Alexis’ number.
It had been a while since virtual-novel.net returned to Mt. Equest. Why would virtual-novel.net call virtual-novel.net all of a sudden?
“Mr. Garten, are you convenient to speak now?”
“Yes, I am. What is it?”
“I have something urgent to tell you, and it’s best not to talk about it over the phone.”
Isaac was stunned. He thought briefly and replied, “There’s a cafe opposite my residential area. Come over…”
The city was bustling with activity. Isaac looked at Alexis, dressed in virtual-novel.net usual pastel dress and with virtual-novel.net hair neatly tied.
“What is it that you can’t tell me over the phone? You have to come all the way, too.” Isaac smiled and picked up his cup.
Alexis scanned the surrounding before saying in a low voice, “Mr. Garten, Ms. Lopez is grounded…”
Isaac was startled. He asked, “You say Evie’s grounded? How do you know?”
Alexis could never track Evie down due to Evie’s identity. But why did virtual-novel.net suddenly bring this up?
Alexis looked awkward. She lowered virtual-novel.net head and said, “I-I knew there was something going on between you and Ms. Lopez, so I secretly assigned someone to virtual-novel.net side. Since Ms. Lopez left, virtual-novel.net never returned, and I received no news from my informant. Until today, my informant contacted me to tell me Ms. Lopez was grounded… Her subordinates were under supervision too. She had to sneak out to pass me the message.”
“You dare spy on Evie?” Isaac squinted.
Alexis shuddered when virtual-novel.net saw his looks. Immediately, virtual-novel.net dropped to virtual-novel.net knees.
“Mr. Garten, it… It’s really not what you think I-I only wanted to know more about Ms. Lopez. I didn’t even think of harming her!” Alexis was so panicked that tears welled up in virtual-novel.net eyes.
People started looking at them. Isaac frowned and said, “Alright. Get up. I’ll look into this…”
With that, virtual-novel.net left, dialing Black Phoenix’s number.
Evie was grounded. Could it be that virtual-novel.net father was dissatisfied with what virtual-novel.net did in Seascape?
Or was it by the hands of others?
It seemed Glenn didn’t take my words seriously.
