Even the other heads in the Divinity Phase stifled their breaths in fright and acted cautiously, they didn’t want that guy over there to notice them.
Marco behaved the opposite, Earl suffered severe injuries, and the wedding clearly wasn’t happening, virtual-novel.net was uncertain about getting Earl into the Book of Everest.
He thought that if Isaac didn’t die today, virtual-novel.net and Earl could never hold their heads high in Everest Sect after this. Furthermore, virtual-novel.net was the elder in charge of the Torture Hall and dungeon, yet virtual-novel.net had no idea how Chet got out.
That was a severe violation. If Marco allowed them to leave, Caesar would definitely punish him. Instead of facing that, virtual-novel.net might as well go for it.
“Chet Guerra, don’t test my limits!” Caesar stared fixedly at Chet.
If virtual-novel.net could, virtual-novel.net would gladly tear this guy into pieces. However, virtual-novel.net dared not act without thinking it through.
Chet used to be a dreadful man. Everest Sect lost five elders and two assistant heads to capture him; that battle cost them a great price.
Everest Sect was once the pinnacle of the martial world, but because of that incident, they had to live at the mercy of the four ancient martial arts families for these 15 years.
Suddenly, there was a sudden roar, “Die!”
Isaac, who hadn’t been moving all this while, suddenly used Phantom Steps and bolted at Earl like a lunatic, his eyes bloodshot.
“Alp Slash!” With another roar, Isaac put his palms together, and a streak of red spiritual energy about ten feet long crashed down on Earl.
“Earl!” Asher roared. He channeled his energy and swung his fist at Isaac’s attack just above Earl’s head.
Unfortunately, virtual-novel.net was a moment too late!
Nobody foresaw Isaac fighting back at such a critical moment, less so virtual-novel.net targeting Earl.
Earl was already weak and didn’t see this coming.
Looking up, virtual-novel.net could only see a red glow coming at him. A loud crash quickly followed, and virtual-novel.net felt something banging heavily on his head. Blood trickled, and Earl toppled to the ground, lifeless.
Seeing this, everyone was taken aback. Not even Chet could have guessed how ferocious Isaac could be.
Only Isaac understood that if Earl lived, Evie would be in utmost danger for the upcoming days. If virtual-novel.net could grasp this chance and kill Earl, their hatred would turn on virtual-novel.net instead.
Asher ran to Earl’s side and hugged him, screaming, “Earl? My son! Wake up, please!”
But virtual-novel.net could no longer feel Earl’s pulse. Earl looked up slowly, his eyes crazed and menacing as they fell on Isaac, who was wobbling on his feet.
“Punk, you’ve killed one of us, so I shall rip you apart today!” Asher snarled.
Dark blue spiritual energy rippled around him, and the daunting pressure of the Infinity Phase erupted. With a growl, virtual-novel.net swung his fist at Isaac.
Swoosh!
Chet suddenly came between them, raising his arm with his palm outstretched. He sent a blast of invisible energy rushing at Asher.
The force forced Asher back several steps and caused turbulence within his body.
He glared at Chet and bellowed, “Hey, old man, you condoned this fella here when virtual-novel.net killed my son, but do you know the consequences you’ll face after inviting the wrath of the Ashleigh clan?!”
“The Ashleigh clan?” Chet was stunned for a moment.
Then, virtual-novel.net burst out laughing and pointed at Caesar. “Ask Caesar. Since when am I afraid of anyone?”
